Connect To Your Clients With Golf Swag

Meeting clients, prospects or colleagues on the golf course is a relaxed way to build relationships without the pressure of an office meeting or the fast pace of a trade show floor. It’s inevitable that everyone is in a good mood and ready to enjoy the day, which makes it the perfect opportunity to just get to know everyone. Although it is said that a lot of business transactions happen on the golf course, it’s not the place for hard selling or pressure. But it does present the perfect opportunity to get your name and brand in the hands of clients and prospects.

If you are hosting a golf outing for clients and prospects, having your entire team in coordinating golf shirts with your corporate logo shows unity, looks professional, makes it easy to identify everyone within your company, and makes a big impression visually. We have shirts to fit every budget and most have coordinating men’s and ladies styles to fit everyone. And for those early spring or late fall golf outings, windshirts are the perfect solution to keep your corporate brand visible. We also carry higher end brands such as Under Armour, Pebble Beach and Cutter & Buck that we will embroider your logo on. Contact us for more information on these brands.

Instead of solid colors, choose colors that coordinate with your corporate colors and have unique patterns to really make your brand stand out on and off the course, like this Cutter & Buck polo.

Every tournament needs giveaways whether it is for the swag bags each player receives or hole sponsor giveaways. Golf balls are a useful gift that everyone will appreciate, whether they are avid golfers or those once-a-year golfers (like me). Put your logo on name brand golf balls such as Pinnacle, Wilson, Titleist and Callaway. You can do sets with balls and other items like tees or golf balls by the dozen that are packed 4 sleeves to a box.

Other popular golf giveaways with your logo are the PitchFix, outing kits with an assortment of golf items, and golf towels. One of my favorite golf towels is this one where your logo is woven into the towel. It creates a really beautiful towel with a very high end look and high perceived value. And your logo is woven into the towel so it won’t wash or wear off.

Many people that play in tournaments or company golf outings are not avid golfers or, for those that are, they already have a plethora golf related items. Selecting promotional items that have relevance on and off the course will increase your brand exposure and appeal to both golfers and non-golfers.

The top items for golf event giveaways that are not golf related include sunscreen, first aid kits (especially those in a zipper bag that can double as a ditty bag), snacks such as pretzels or trail mix, microfiber cloths and bottle openers . I love this new kit that includes sunscreen, after sun spray, bug spray, bug bite relief and hand sanitizer- it covers all the bases for outdoor activities!

Include snacks such as trail mix in golf swag bags or as hole sponsor giveaways.

Don’t forget the golf awards. Let us help you with all your awards from 1st place to Closest to the Pin. There are a variety of traditional awards or we can do something more creative such as a cooler, backpack, bluetooth speaker or headphones.

At Barefoot Swag we have all the most popular golf giveaways. Let us help you find the perfect items for your next tournament or company outing.

Top 5 Most Popular Summer Swag Ideas

Hot weather seems to slow us all down.  Thinking is a chore on hot days when I would rather be outside hiking or in a pool somewhere.  However, the need to market your business, products or services never stops so we put together a list of top summer ideas to help you out. So you can think less and enjoy summer more.  From community events, staff uniforms, concerts, product launches and more, we will help you find the perfect swag ideas to show off your logo.

  1. Summer festivals, fairs, outdoor concerts can get steamy.  And all those people just add to the heat.  Fans are top items for outdoor events.  You can go “old school” with card stock hand fans with a wooden stick.  Add a coupon or special offer to increase the ROI and get people into your store or buying your products.  Battery powered fans are reusable and have a longer staying power.  Add lights or a light up message for night time events for even more fun.  An new spin on portable fans is one that plugs into a mini usb or regular usb- fun and functional.

2. Sunglasses range from inexpensive name brand and make useful giveaways during summer months.  Retro styles with neon frames or Blues Brothers style are the most popular choices, but we also carry Maui Jim, Bolle and more.  You can get really custom and creative by adding a logo to the lenses as well.  This option is really popular with colleges and universities.

3. A good quality lip balm.  That is on my list for every season, but in the summer it’s an easy item to give away, easy to transport, carry and useful.  Make sure you choose one with an SPF and a fun summer flavor and it is sure to be a hit.

4. Nothing goes with summer like Sunscreen.  It’s a no-brainer for outdoor events, dermatologist offices, product launch parties, colleges and universities.  With some creative thought or a corny tag line (Don’t get burned- come to XYZ Auto for hot deals) and a variety of scents, sunscreen appeals to a wide audience.  And if you want to really go the extra mile, we can create a custom scent to tie into your product.  We have a client that wanted to match the scent of the sunscreen to the key ingredient in their liquor and we then matched the imprint to the label on the bottle for a completely custom sunscreen they will give out at events.  There are so many options for packaging and sizes that it’s a swag item that fits any budget- packets,  bottles, spray tubes, sticks- the possibilities seem endless.

5. Moisture wicking shirts.  Camp counselors, amusement park uniforms, golf events, company outings, construction workers, event staff & volunteers- anyone outside for long stretches of time that needs to be identified as an employee or staff member in the summer needs a moisture wicking shirt.  Add to the function with one made from a fabric with an SPF factor for even  more bang for your buck.  Moisture wicking t shirts, polo shirts, long sleeve or short sleeve- with a wide range of styles, price ranges and colors (even ANSI certified safety colors), we can find the perfect shirt to show off your logo for uniforms, giveaways, golf outings or any other need you have.
