Sustainable Swag – A Timely Topic

Sustainability is a hot topic – both here in Portland and across the country. More companies are “going green” and want to incorporate sustainability into their marketing and company culture.

Let’s be honest here – a lot of swag is fun, but it often times ends up in landfills. More and more companies are looking to extend their ‘green’ image to the promotional items they give away… and more of our industry suppliers are responding by offering eco-friendly swag and apparel.

The problem is, there’s not just one website or product line out there that has everything for you to see in one place. Lots of different suppliers have mixed in a few sustainable items along with their regular product lines. So I did a little research and pulled together 40 items from various suppliers that are all either biodegradable or made from recycled materials.

If you’d like to check it out, click the link below to view our “Sustainable Swag Top 40 Items”. All pricing is as of September 2007. This will give you a good idea of the kinds of items that are out there, and we are seeing more items literally every day. I’ll make it a point to feature more sustainable, eco-friendly and “green” swag in my posts to keep you abreast of this important trend.
